DILG CSIS MOA SIGNING: The Notre Dame of Tacurong College and Department of Interior and Local Government Region XII (DILG-XII) officially sealed their partnership for the implementation of the Client Satisfaction Index System Survey last December 16, 2013 at DILG XII Office Conference Room, Koronadal City.
The event was attended by Dr. Melody A. Zaragoza, our Research Development Officer together with Rev. Fr. Arnold Fuentes,DCC, School Treasurer and Rev. Fr. Jessie P. Pasquin, DCC, School President.
The MOA was signed in the presence of the DILG OIC Regional Director, Mr. Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESE and Mrs. Rominnah M. Mua, the DILG focal person together with some DILG Officials.
DILG ORIENTATION SEMINAR: The researchers during the DILG Orientation Seminar last December 20, 2013 as they prepare for the implementation of the DILG Client Satisfaction Index System Survey.
Dr. Melody A. Zaragoza, the project manager together with Dr. Angelie Fiel Ballena and Dr. Rosmalin G. Arzagon, the Field Supervisors have gathered a total of 18 field interviewers comprising of both faculty and staff from different departments for the implementation of the program.
The interviewers were given an orientation seminar and preliminary briefing regarding the program and its instructions including the possible scenarios that will happen during the implementation.
FIELD INTERVIEW: The official implementation of the DILG Client Satisfaction Index System Survey kicked off with an Orientation Seminar last December 20, 2013 and followed by the field interview roll-out the following day Dec. 21, 2013.
During the field interview, the researchers were required to wear appropriate clothing and prepare relevant items such as Interview Kit, map, bottle water and protection from the searing heat of the Sun.
The interviewers were able to cope up with the scheduled time and accomplished their respective area in no time.
TRAINING SEMINAR: Prior to the official implementation of the DILG Client Satisfaction Index System Survey, three persons in the name of Dr. Melody Zaragoza, our Research Development Officer, Dr. Rosmalin G. Arzagon, our Vice-President for Academics and Dr. Angelie Fiel Ballena, Dean, College of Arts and Education was sent to attend the DILG Training Seminar provided by the Department of Interior and Local Government National Office in Davao City.
QUALITATIVE RESEARCH SEMINAR: A Research Capability Seminar-Workshop on Qualitative Research was conducted by Research Development Office to the 3rd year BS in Social Work and BS Nursing students last January 24-25, 2014.
The conducted qualitative seminar-workshop is specifically designed to improved the Social Science and Nursing student researches.
Mr. Jerome Babate, Assistant Professor in Mindanao State University Graduate School Department and President of Babate Consulting, Inc. was invited to be the speaker of the said event. His expertise in both social and nursing related researches earned him several notable invitations and grants both local and abroad.
RESEARCH FORUM I: The Research Development Office conducted the first ever Research forum for the School Year 2013-2014 last August 23, 2013 at the NDTC Conference hall. The researches presented was the following:
- Curricular Objectives and Performance of Students in ITE 101 – Introduction to Information Technology with Software Application by Dr. Rosmalig G. Arzagon and Mrs. Analiza S. Henodia
- Curricular Objectives and Performance of Students in Introduction to MATH 104 – College Algebra by Dr. Rosmalin G. Arzagon and Mr. Antonio B. Tubalado, Jr.
- Curricular Objectives and Performance of Students in FIL101 – KomunikasyonsaAkademikong Filipino by Dr. Rosmalin G. Arzagon and Ms. Ivony Mari R. Padernal
- Curricular Objectives and Performance of Students in NSCI 111 – General Chemistry by Dr. Rosmalin G. Arzagon and Ms. Sherry V. Mecida
STUDENT RESEARCH FORUMS: The Notre Dame of Tacurong College Research Development Office conducted the second Students Research Forum and Poster Exhibit last January 24-25, 2014, it was designed to enhance student’s involvement and awareness in research of their chosen field. The Office aims to raise the level of awareness of students particularly on Quality Research Outputs in their related field of study.
The forum and poster exhibit provides an opportunity to NDTC students to contribute knowledge and impart to other students and research enthusiasts that would eventually strengthen student’s capability in research.
