A. Enrollment FAQs

1. How do I enroll in NDTC this school year 2020-2021?

To enroll, follow these steps:

  1. Register your personal data through https://prelist.ndtc.edu.ph
  2. Pay at the Business Office.
  3. Submit requirements at your respective department through the Record’s Office/Registrar’s Office.

2. What requirements are needed during enrollment?

The requirements per department are the following:

  • Grade School
    • Preschool
      • Photocopy of PSA/NSO Certificate
      • Four (4) pieces 1×1 ID picture
    • Grade 1
      • Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Checklist
      • Photocopy of PSA/NSO Certificate
      • Four (4) pieces 1×1 ID picture
    • Transferees
      • Original Copy of the Report Card
      • Photocopy of PSA/NSO Certificate
      • Four (4) pieces 1×1 ID picture
  • Junior High School
    • Grade 7

3. When is the enrollment period?

Our enrollment is on-going and ends on July 15, 2020 for Grade School and High School Departments (as per DepEd order) and August 24, 2020 for College Department. Late enrollees will be accommodated on a case-to-case basis. You may visit our website at sis.ndtc.edu.ph to register online. Payment must be made at the Business Office.

4. I do not have Internet connection for NDTC online registration. How do I enroll?

NDTC is accepting walk-in enrollees where computers are available for online registration.  For assistance, proceed to your respective departments.

B. Payment and Schedule of Fees FAQs

1. Is there an increase in tuition this academic year 2021-2022?

There is NO TUITION FEE INCREASE in all departments this school year 2020-2021.

2. Will miscellaneous and other fees be reduced this academic year 2021-2022?

Yes, there is a decrease on the miscellaneous and other fees. In consideration to the mode of instructional delivery and suspension of some programs and activities, the school has suspended or reduced some charges.

3. How much is the down payment during enrollment?

The minimum down payment for enrollment is P 1,500.00.

4. If I will pay the tuition and miscellaneous in full, how much discount will I avail?

If you will pay in full during Registration period, here are the discounts that you can avail:

  • For Elementary Department: less 10% on Tuition Fee
  • For Junior & Senior High School Departments: less 5% on Tuition Fee
  • For College Department: less 5% on Tuition Fee

5. Aside from discount, are there any Enrollment Promos/Incentives that I can avail?

Aside from school discount when you pay in full during registration period, we also offer the following enrollment incentives:

  1. Free 1 set of uniform for the first 50 Grade 1 enrollees (boys and girls) who have paid the required down payment (1 month tuition and full payment of other school fees)
  2. Free 1 set of uniform for the first 50 Grade 7 and 11 enrollees (girls only) who have paid the required down payment (1 month tuition and full payment of other school fees)
  3. P 500.00 discount on Tuition fee for transferees from Grade 2-6.
  4. Discount on Tuition Fee for Blood brothers and sisters in the Basic Education:
    • 100% Discount on Tuition Fee- to one (1) of the four (4) or more blood brothers and/or sisters enrolled in the Grade and High School Departments (applied to the youngest enrollee).
    • 50% Discount on Tuition Fee- to one (1) of the three (3) blood brothers and/or sisters enrolled in the Grade and High School Departments (applied to the youngest enrollee).
  5. Discount on Tuition Fee for Blood brothers and sisters in the College:
    • 100% Discount on Tuition Fee- to one (1) of the four (4) or more blood brothers and/or sisters enrolled in the College Department (applied to the youngest enrollee).
    • 50% Discount on Tuition Fee- to one (1) of the three (3) blood brothers and/or sisters enrolled in the College Department (applied to the youngest enrollee).

6. When is the deadline of enrollment down payment?

The deadline of down payment for enrollment is on August 24, 2020.

C. Scholarship Grants and Discounts FAQs

1. What are the NDTC scholarship grants and financial assistance offered for school year 2020-2021?

Below are the scholarship grants and financial assistance available to academically deserving, creatively gifted, and financially challenged students of NDTC:

  • Grade School Department
    • Academic Excellence:
      • First Honors -100% discount on tuition
      • Second Honors -50% discount on tuition
  • High School Department
    • Academic Excellence:
      • First Honors -100% discount on tuition
      • Second Honors -50% discount on tuition
    • Government Financial Assistance
      • Educational Service Contract (ESC Program)
      • School Voucher Program intended for incoming Senior High School students
    • Bishop Mongeau Scholarship Program
  • College Department
    • Academic Scholarship
      • Honorable: 100% tuition fee discount is granted to students who have an average of 95% with no grade below 93%.
      • Distinction:  50% tuition fee discount is granted to students who have an average of 93% with no grade below 90%.
    • Bishop Mongeau Scholarship
      • 100% tuition fee discount is given to students who ranked first in the scholarship examination.
      • 50% tuition fee discount is given to students who ranked second in the scholarship examination.
    • Excel Scholarship
      • 100% tuition fee discount is granted for 1 semester only to the top 1 student per strand of the graduating class.
      • 50% tuition fee discount is granted for 1 semester only to the top 2 student per strand of the graduating class.
    • Sports and Socio-cultural Scholarship
      • Up to 100% tuition fee discount is granted to deserving varsity player or Teatro Balintataw member.
      • Note: Not offered this year due to suspension of sports & socio-cultural activities and programs
    • Student Personnel Assistant
      • 100% free tuition and miscellaneous fees are granted to students who applied and passed the screening requirements.
    • Government Scholarships
      • The school accommodates government scholarship programs like Technical Educational Skills Development Authority (TESDA)’s Private Education SFA and Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP); Armed Forces of the Philippine (AFP)’s Veterans; CHED’s Full Merit, Half Merit, Tulong Dunong and Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES)-UNIFAST.
    • Agency Scholarships
      • The NDTC is open to scholarships sponsored by different agencies, foundations or non-government organizations.
    • YSLEP Caritas Manila Scholarship
      • Scholars are granted P 12, 500.00 per semester.
      • Note: No slot for incoming freshmen this year

D. Delivery of Instruction FAQs

1. What learning modalities will NDTC use in the delivery of its instruction?

Basic Education

In our desire to keep education running, Distance Learning Modalities shall be employed. These include Modular Distance Learning and Offline Learning through the use of printed and digital learning materials. Also, Online Distance Learning shall be implemented through the use of online learning tools and platforms. These are the options that we have looked at how best we can provide continuity of learning to our clientele. We shall shift to Blended Learning once face- to -face instruction is allowed.

College

The College Department will employ Blended Learning to meet the individual learning needs of the students. It is a combination of scheduled face to face and online communication. Printed modules shall also be provided as additional learning materials for the students who have limited capacity for online instruction.

2. Are there still prescribed textbooks for pupils/students?

Grade School

Yes. There are prescribed textbooks but this time not in all subjects.

High School

Yes, there will be prescribed textbooks.

3. Are textbooks compulsory to College students?

Textbooks are generally NOT compulsory for College students but some instructors may require as needed especially for professional subjects.

E. Health Safety Protocols

1. What are the health safety protocols to be followed during enrollment?

2. What are the health safety protocols to be followed during face to face learning?

To ensure the safety of everyone, NDTC implements health safety protocols to be strictly observed before entering the campus and while inside the campus. These include mandatory wearing of face mask, maintaining proper social distancing, disinfecting often-touched surfaces or objects, and frequent handwashing.

Upon resumption of face to face instruction, the following DepEd / CHED guidelines shall also be strictly observed:

  1. Class size – maximum of 20 students per classroom
  2. Seating arrangement should be at least 1 meter apart
  3. Ventilation – classroom temperature shall be set to 26 degrees Celsius
