Vantage View staff Receive National Award

The School Press Advisers’ Movement Incorporated (SPAM Inc.) a member of the National Federation for Campus Journalists, awarded three Vantage View Staff during its 11th Annual National Media Conference held in La Carmela De Boracay Hotel, Boracay Island, Aklan last September 13-15, 2017.

Jajn  Meracinth  Medrocillo, Feature Editor, garnered 5th place in Photojournalism- Smartphone English Category



Rad Ronn Rick Bance, Managing Editor, garnered 7th place in Photojournalism-Smartphone Filipino Category.




Ana Marie Quevada, Photojournalist, garnered 9th place in Photojournalism DSLR Conventional  category.


Kemberly Victorioso, Editor-In-Chief, Malak Al-Daood, Cartoonist and Girly Maglasang, News Editor together with Mrs. Mary Zyryl Muyco, moderator, also joined the activity.

The national media conference aims to hone the skills of campus journalists, provide opportunity for training of campus advisers and provide recent trends in campus journalism.


This activity was participated by 53 schools and universities including Philippine Military Academy (PMA), De La Salle University, Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Eastern State University, Columban College, Bulacan State University, St. Dominic College of Asia, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Bohol Island State University, North West Samar State university and other colleges and universities.

Vantage View is the official publication of the Notre Dame of Tacurong College. It features salient activities of the school, current trends of young people and original literary compositions of college students.
