Alay Kay Maria outreach programs this year were conducted earlier on September 6, 2019, at the same adopted barangay in celebration of the feast of the Nativity of Mary on September 8. With excitement, the pupils of Tina Elementary School were chosen as the recipients for this year. Mr. Elmer G. Muyco, the High School Principal enjoined the teachers, student representatives, and the teachers together with the pupils in the endeavor of strengthening the continued linkage between the school and the community through relevant initiatives and genuine service.
The program included the giving of new slippers to the children where some teachers and students willingly facilitated the searching and fitting. Parlor games brought out the competitiveness of the pupils and at the same time the entertainment to the audience bursting in laughter because of their innocence. Everybody was active and enjoyed the hataw led by the MAPEH teachers. The necessity to provide the pupils with some new school supplies was deemed; thus, each was given a set of materials. Finally, just when the children felt tired and hungry for being enthusiastic, they were given simple snacks to be satiated. The day was really full of fun and meaningful, delighting the children once again with a simple program and gifts.
