The NDTC community celebrated Mass of the Holy Spirit last June 20, 2014 at 7:30 in the morning at the NDTC Gymnasium.  The main celebrant and homilist was Rev. Fr. Jude G. Villa, DCC, the School Chaplain and Director for General Services.  Together with him as concelebrants were Rev. Fr. Jessie P. Pasquin, DCC, School President, and Rev. Fr. Arnold L. Fuentes, DCC, Executive Assistant to the President.  Rev. John Angelo Gamino was also present to serve as the assisting deacon.
In his homily, Fr. Villa explained that this long standing tradition of the Institution is “to invoke the Holy Spirit [and] to ask for God’s help as we begin the school year.”  The Mass of the Holy Spirit is also “to beg for God’s grace […] because we can do more with the Holy Spirit.  We can be more productive with the help of God.”
The theme for this year’s Mass of the Holy Spirit “Rekindling the Fire of God’s Spirit” truly captured the school’s earnest desire that the gifts of the Holy Spirit be “rekindled” in each one.  While NDTC prides in the capacity of the students, administration and staff, NDTC also strongly believes in the power of divine grace. With the help of the Spirit of Truth, NDTC looks forward to a fruitful academic year.
