NDTC launches Diamond Anniversary PDF Print E-mail

 

Hailed on its 60 years of eminent works of service to the people of Sultan Kudarat, The  Notre Dame of Tacurong College launches its Diamond  Jubilee Celebration Last June 18,2010 during the Mass of the Holy Spirit, an annual mass celebration during the start of the school year, with the theme “The Holy Spirit  moves Notre Dame of Tacurong over to its Diamond Year.

The whole day celebration started with a holy mass celebrated by the NDTC  President Msgr. Antonio P. Pueyo, DCC, Ed.D and co-celebrated by Rev. Fr. Benito E. Tamayao,DCC the school Executive Assistant to the President, Treasurer and Director of Personnel and Student services.

After the holy mass , NDTC  had the longest ever motorcade routed in the nearby municipalities of Tacurong City namely, Isulan, and President  Quirino Sultan Kudart. It was participated by the students and parents from Elementary, High School and College Department, together with the faculty, staff and administrators, everybody enjoyed the motorcade that shows NDTC is still the number one in Service and Quality Education.

After the motorcade an Opening   program followed  at exactly ten thirty in the morning  at the open stage with simple presentations and it is highlighted with the unrolling of Diamond Jubilee Logo and the declaration of the formal opening of the whole year celebration of the Diamond Jubilee by the ever supportive president Msgr. Antonio P. Pueyo,DCC,ED.D

As a sign of love and unity of NDTC community  the symbolic releasing of balloons was spearheaded  by the grade school , high school , college of nursing and the Central Student Council.

To add a festive mood  to the celebration the whole community put up  colorful tents , bantings, and long tables and enjoyed the barbeque party  that covered smoke to  the open field  of the school which also notifies the presence of NDTC through the years.

With this said celebration the young and old, new and seasoned    really  enjoyed  eating, talking and laughing together despite the hotness of the day .
